食品級鈦白粉（二氧化鈦）主要應用在硬膠囊、軟膠囊、包衣、糖果、乳飲料、面粉改良劑、果凍、餡料、膨化食品、口香糖、果珍、果脯和彩妝等產(chǎn)品中使用。起到增白、遮蓋、渾濁等作用。 
 藥用鈦白粉用于制造不透明膠囊，片劑包衣薄膜，藥用霜劑，藥用包裝材料，藥用油墨等。 
 與化妝品中使用的其它顏料相比，鈦白粉具有安全，穩(wěn)定，白度高，遮蓋力強等優(yōu)點，是優(yōu)秀的白色顏料。此外，鈦白粉還有持久的紫外線吸收能力，還同時發(fā)揮強有力的防曬作用。
