丙酮(acetone,CH3COCH3),又名***基酮,為最簡單的飽和酮。是一種無色透明液體,有特殊的辛辣氣味。易溶于水和甲醇、乙醇、乙醚、氯仿、吡啶等有機(jī)溶劑。易燃、易揮發(fā),化學(xué)性質(zhì)較活潑。目前世界上丙酮的工業(yè)生產(chǎn)以異丙苯法為主。丙酮在工業(yè)上主要作為溶劑用于炸藥、塑料、橡膠、纖維、制革、油脂、噴漆等行業(yè)中,也可作為合成烯酮、醋酐、碘仿、聚異戊二烯橡膠、甲基丙烯酸甲酯、氯仿、環(huán)氧樹脂等物質(zhì)的重要原料。

丙酮球棍模型丙酮是脂肪族酮類具有代表性的的化合物,具有酮類的典型反應(yīng)。例如:與亞硫酸氫鈉形成無色結(jié)晶的加成物。與氰化氫反應(yīng)生成丙酮氰醇。在還原劑的作用下生成異丙酮與頻哪醇。丙酮對氧化劑比較穩(wěn)定。在室溫下不會被硝酸氧化。用酸性高錳酸鉀強(qiáng)氧化劑做氧化劑時(shí),生成乙酸、二氧化碳和水。在堿存在下發(fā)生雙分子縮合,生成雙丙酮醇。2mol丙酮在各種酸性催化劑(鹽酸,氯化鋅或硫酸)存在下生成亞異丙基丙酮,再與1mol丙酮加成,生成佛爾酮(二亞異丙基丙酮)。3mol丙酮在濃硫酸作用下,脫3mol水生成1,3,5-三甲苯。
在石灰。醇鈉或氨基鈉存在下,縮合生成異佛爾酮(3,5,5-三甲基-2-環(huán)己烯-1-酮)。在酸或堿存在下,與醛或酮發(fā)生縮合反應(yīng),生成酮醇、不飽和酮及樹脂狀物質(zhì)。與苯酚在酸性條件下,縮合成雙酚-A。丙酮的α-氫原子容易被鹵素取代,生成α-鹵代丙酮。與次鹵酸鈉或鹵素的堿溶液作用生成鹵仿。丙酮與Grignard試劑發(fā)生加成作用,加成產(chǎn)物水解得到叔醇。丙酮與氨及其衍生物如羥氨、肼、苯肼等也能發(fā)生縮合反應(yīng)。此外,丙酮在500~1000℃時(shí)發(fā)生裂解,生成乙烯酮。在170~260℃通過硅-鋁催化劑,生成異丁烯和乙醛;300~350℃時(shí)生成異丁烯和乙酸等。不能被銀氨溶液,新制氫氧化銅等弱氧化劑氧化,但可催化加氫生成醇。
